SCERA to show edited R-rated movies

The SCERA Showhouse Theatre will offer its first-ever season of seven R-rated movies, edited to airline standards.  The the community arts and education organization is not trying to make a cultural or political statement, but simply trying to match up its fare with what the public seems to want.  If the public supports the showing of the edited movies, it could become an annual presentation.  Norm Nielsen of SCERA worked for nearly a decade to get permission and access to show the airline versions of movies.
