Trolley Theatres...hated those floating screens with the green lights behind them - big distraction to the film presentation. Yes, the lights behind the screen was to represent the glow effect as if one was watching a movie at a drive-in. But in all, this was a very cozy theatre to watch movies in. Big movie I saw there was "Ode to Billy Joe" - in 1975.

Actually, the big draw for the Trolley Theatres was the uniforms that the concessionaires wore: The "Keystone Cop" attire: bowler police hat, small brass buttoned jacket, pink blouse, purple "hot pants", with black tights underneath...and the girls had to be very good looking to look prim in these uniforms..
